Founded in April 1987, the Band exists to further the musical aspirations and experience of young brass players in a christian environment. The Band meets four or five times a year at weekends in various parts of the country when a Saturday evening public concert is given and the Band participates in the Sunday morning worship of the host church. The Band also undertakes a tour each summer alternating between the UK and abroad, and has an active outreach programme.
